2010 VBBC Mentoring Programs
Due to the previous success of our mentoring program, this year there will be two mentoring programs. Jamiee Portell does a lot of work with this program, so please, thank her when you see her.
The first is the Open Game Mentoring Program. This program is designed to help players make the transition from the restricted games to the open game. There are a couple small changes to the program, notably, players are expected to play together four times and are encouraged to book two games in the afternoon to help introduce the mentees to the open game and its regular players.
The second is the 0-299 Game Mentoring Program. This new program is designed to help players make the transition from the 0-20 (or even the 0-99) game to the 0-299 game. If you have been a mentee in the past, this is your chance to mentor an up and coming novice. Jamie and Lyn Giuffrida will be working together on this new program.
The answer to your question is: Yes, you can be a Mentee in the Open program and at the same time a Mentor in the 0-299 Program. So signup and enjoy.
